SQL Join

SQL have a powerful capability to retrieve data from the table using single command. This process is called Join. In Join, table are listed in the WHERE/FROM clause. Syntax:
SELECT

, =
FROM
,
WHERE
=
;

Equi join :- In the join, joining condition is based on equality between values the common column is Equi join. Equi join is also called inner or simple join. In which use any type of relational operator. Syntax:
SELECT EMPLOYEE_NAME , Branch department
FROM EMPLOYEE Branch
WHERE EMPLOYEE MASTER.Branch=Branch.Branch;

Outer join :- A row does not satisfy with join condition, when use outer join to see the row that do not usually meet the join condition. the (+) operation used to perform outer join. Syntax:
SELECT:column, table 2 column
FROM table 1, table 2
WHERE table 1, column(+)=table 2 column;

Self join :- The Self join is used to join the table itself means that each row of the table is combined with itself. Syntax:
SELECT E.ID E.name E 1. name
FROM EMPLOYEE,EMPLOYEE E1
WHERE E salary=E 1,salary;
